1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how AI GPU Data Center (Pty) Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on www.aigpudatacenter.co.za, what they do, and what choices you have.
It should be read together with our Privacy Notice, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
2. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels among them — do comparable things. Together they let a site remember something between page loads or between visits.
Cookies are usually described in two ways.
By who sets them. First-party cookies are set by the site you are visiting. Third-party cookies are set by another organisation whose content or service the site uses.
By how long they last. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a set period or until you delete them.
3. What we use
We have deliberately kept this website simple. We do not use analytics, advertising or marketing tracking.
3.1 Strictly necessary
These are required for the website to work and to stay secure. They cannot be switched off through a preference setting, because without them the site cannot be delivered safely.
| Purpose | Set by | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Security and bot management — distinguishing genuine visitors from automated traffic, and protecting the site against attack | Domains.co.za / website hosting infrastructure | First party, set on our behalf | Session, or as required for security purposes |
| Load balancing and routing — delivering pages from appropriate infrastructure | Domains.co.za / website hosting infrastructure | First party, set on our behalf | Session |
| Spam protection on the enquiry form | Not currently used | N/A | N/A |
| Website platform session and preference cookies | Our website platform | First party | Not currently used — the site sets no session or preference cookie of its own |
3.2 Analytics
We do not use analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, or any equivalent service. We do not measure individual visitor behaviour across the site.
3.3 Advertising and marketing
We do not use advertising or marketing technologies. There is no Meta Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no advertising pixel of any kind, and no cross-site tracking. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not share information with advertising networks.
3.4 Website platform cookies
The website itself sets no cookies. It has no login, no comments, no shopping basket and no preference storage, so there is nothing for the platform to remember between page loads. Any cookie you find on this domain will have been set by the hosting and security infrastructure described in 3.1.
3.5 Third-party content
This website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), operated by Google. No cookie is set by this, but requesting a font file discloses your IP address and browser identifier to Google. Google's handling of that information is governed by its own privacy policy.
Apart from Google Fonts, the site embeds no third-party content. There are no maps, video embeds, social widgets, chat widgets, advertising tags or externally hosted scripts. All icons and illustrations on the site are inline SVG served from our own infrastructure.
4. Server logs
Separately from cookies, our hosting and security infrastructure keeps standard server logs recording requests made to the site. These typically include the IP address making the request, the time, the page requested, the referring page and the browser identifier.
Logs are used to keep the site available, to investigate faults and to detect and respond to attacks. They are not used to build a profile of you. They are retained for a limited period and then deleted. See our Privacy Notice for more on how we handle this information.
5. Your choices
5.1 In your browser
Every major browser lets you see what cookies are stored, delete them, and block them — either entirely or by category. The relevant setting is usually under Privacy, Security or Site Settings.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of this website from working properly.
5.2 Do Not Track
Some browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is no agreed standard for how sites should respond to it. Since we do not track visitors across sites in any event, the question does not arise here.
5.3 If we add anything
We do not currently use any cookie requiring your consent. If we introduce analytics, advertising or any other non-essential technology, we will implement a consent mechanism first, and update this policy before that technology goes live — not afterwards.
6. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever the technology on the site changes. The version and effective date at the top of the page tell you which version you are reading.
